Surnames: WILSON NIGHT DAY
We may be related! I am descended from Enos/Elijah Wilson and his wife, Sarah Bernetta (nee Night) thru their daughter, Martha Ann. Elijah was born in May 1840 in LaFollette, Campbell Co. TN.; Sarah was born in Oct 1848. My grandfather (Sarah's grandson) told me that Sarah was a half-blooded "indian"/possible cherokee. I was told that her father was a Joe or George Night and her mother was Sarah AKA Lucy Day- the family joked that they were as different as 'Night' and 'Day.' I have little information on the family, mostly just what my grandfather and his sister told me about the family. Maybe we could work together and share information?

Hi Donna,
I have been trying for years to find info on Sarah Wilson brn
abt 1850 Ky? per the 1880 Campbell Co Census. In 1880 she
was married to Allen Bond brn abt 1850 AR?,and he was believed to be Native American. Allen Bond and Sarah Wilson Bond had children,Nancy M Bond brn abt 1868 Ky,m,John Chadwick possible abt 1890 Tn/Ky(My Gparents),.
Alice Bond brn abt 1875 Ky,m,unk McCabe/Harrison,Mary J Bond brn abt 1878,m,unk Walker?,and brother George Bond brn abt 1880 Tn,m,Sadie
unk. I have pic's that I believe Allen was in a uniform, and he sure looks like Native American?.
I have heard that Sarah Wilson was from Cherokee descent.
I don't know if Sarah died, but Allen Bond later married a Indian
lady, and had another son name unk,and heard that he moved to either Southern IL,or Ind?. It is possible that Allen was a
middle name?. I was told that Sarah Wilson Bond lived with Cherokee relatives in Campbell Co Tn at one time. Remember this info came from a distant cuz from CA who is
90 years young, and her family came from TN. My Chadwick./
James/Bond line live in Campbell/Bradley/Roane/Rhea/Co's of Tn.

It seems that our Sarah Wilsons are two different women. My Sarah (Night/Knight) was born c. Oct. 1848 and married an Enos Wilson (bn. c. 1850). She was my grandfather's grandmother and he told me that she was half 'indian.' Her parents are said (by my great-aunt) to be a Joe or George and Sarah/Lucy (nee Day) Knight. My Enos Wilson did have a sister, Sarah, who was bn. c.1859 in TN (their mother was also named Sarah!). I'm sorry that I can't be of help to you now, but will try to keep a lookout for your Sarah Bonds and will contact you if I find any information.

Hi Donna,
Thanks for your reply. What is strange about my Sarah Wilson
is two different stories. My elderly cuz said that she was brn in Caryville Tn,but no brith date, and another she was brn abt 1850 in KY,per the Campbell Co Tn 1880 census as Sarah Bond. She also said that there were relatives living in Lafalotte? Tn,and I believe that both of those towns are located in Campbell Co?. It also has been told that she later
married a Rev Hill possible Campbell Co abt 1880/1900.
Remember my cuz is 90 years young, and everytime I talk to her, stories change.
