Searching for info about James R. BROOKS b-TN 1860 1st wife- Isabella ALBRIGHT married 7/12/1885 Union County TN. 5 Children- Edgar 6/1885, Social 3/1889, Ernest 9/1891, Carrie 1/1893, Stalie(ey) 8/1894. 2nd wife- Ellen DABNEY, she had 3 daughters from a previous marriage- Bertha, Gertrue, Grace.
Does anyone know who James R. BROOKS parents were? Carrie BROOKS married Sharp RUTHERFORD 7/19/1910 in Campbell County. They had 3 children- Ed Brooks RUTHERFORD, Martha, & Howard. Carrie died during the flu epidemic, 11/19/1918. I cannot find where she is buried. After her death someone local took care of the children until Sharp RUTHERFORD remarried. Does anyone know who took care of them?
