James H.Grant 1754 CONdo.do you know who he was married to before? You mentioned that the Grants, and Coopers were neighbors. Could there be connection through marriage? I'm just curious to why Peter would have his son James H. Grant 1810 on his estate, if they were only friends. It's possible that they were just close friends, but still I wonder..if Peter might have had a sister that was once married to the older James H. Grant, and and maybe the 1810 James H. Grant was actually a nephew thats why his son, being a nephew recieved benifit from Peter's estate. Just a theory with no proof. I wish there were more documents available at this time frame.
