Patsy, I have an Amos Richardson born 1762 in Bedford County, VA died May 2, 1853 in Campbell County, TN. Have 5 sons listed: Thomas b. bet. 1790-1800, John b. 1796 in TN, David b. bef 1800, Daniel b. 1801 in Campbell County, Aaron b. 1803 in Campbell County (no prove that Aaron is son of Amos). This info is from info sent to me a couple of months ago. I have not verified any of the above info, so I can't state this as fact. Rick

From Rootsweb, Campbell Co. TN., Vincant Cemetery, I recently noted that Amos Richardson, a Rev. War veteran is buried there. No dates given. Could anyone add any family data in Amos

Do you have documentation to proof that these are the sons of Amos Richardson? I would be interested to exchange information.

My cousin is married to an Amos Richardson and his fathers name is also Amos Richardson. Do you think there is a connection? If you like I can call her and ask about it.

You have asked an interesting question but I am sorry I don't have a good answer. The Amos Richardson I am wondering about would have probably served in the Rev. War so would be so long ago. If the name is still being carried in the family would be very intersting. Patsy Hand

I talked to my cousin today who is married to Amos Richardson, his fathers name is also Amos Richardson (I knew him to), his fathers name was John (Doc) Richardson and finally his fathers name was Amos Richardson. She knew about a grave out in Towe String. It is indeed there Amos Richardson but they are not sure of the family link. Can you help us out with that?
