Hi,

I'm trying to find information on my gggrandfather, Enoch Nelson, born abt 1816, in NC. He married Mary "Polly" Moore in Campbell Co TN on Jan 9, 1840. He died abt 1890 and was buried in Baker's Forge Cemetery. One of his sons, Dock Harrison Nelson, born 1856, married Sarah "Sally" Ford, daughter of Stephen Akins Ford and Nancy J Ford, nee Huff, also living in Campbell/Union Co. I am stuck on both sides. I would appreciate info on either family. The Nelson side is from NC and the Ford side is from VA. I'll be happy to share any information I have on these families.

There is a family history available on microfilm from the Morman Church's Family History Center. I believe it is titled "Jacob Isaac Jackson - Campbell Co, TN to MO". He married Martha Jane Ford and they went to MO in 1854 and raised 16 children. There is a section where Fords in Campbell Co were interviewed and some letters. These are transcribed in this family history. Could be of use to you.

My grandfather, Joseph Mynatt Nelson, was the son of Dock Harrison Nelson and Sallie Ford. I don't have much information but would be willing to share all I have.
