Dallas, January 28: Motion for new trial in case of M. M. DRWYFUS, convicted of embezzlement. Motion for new trail in case of GEORGE BLANKIN, convicted of embezzlement. REX FITZ BERRY, one of the prisoners escaped from jail Tuesday, was captured at Cleburne today and brought by Sheriff JONES.
Marriage licenses issued to: CHARLES MITCHELL & ELIZA WILLIAMS; ELI H. SCAGGS & LULA S. CONWAY; LEWIS R. MCCART & MARY L. CLOCK, JOSEPH L. THOMAS & THEODOCIA C. TEMBLE HOWARD; W. MITCHELL & MIRAM G. ROBB; ALEXANDER JAMES & AMANDA GAMMLES; HENRY MILLER & ZUIDA WILLIAMS.
A brakeman named ARCHER POTTS at work on a gravel train on the Texas & Pacific RR, while in the act of uncoupling cars at the gravel pit five miles west of city last night, lost his footing and fell before the car. He was run over and was dead when picked up. His remains were brought to Dallas. The deceased was originally from Cleveland, Bradley County, Tennessee, but for several years had lived at McKinney, where his family now reside.

Mrs. MARTHA M. HUGHES TURNER
Bentonville, Aug. 19: Funeral services for Mrs. MARTHA M. HUGHES TURNER, who died Sunday night at Pecos, Texas, from injuries received in an automobile accident near Pecos Saturday night, will be held at the Callison-McKinney Funeral Home in Bentonville Friday afternoon at 2:30 and burial will be in the Barron Cemetery near Vaughn. Mrs. Turner was born in Bradley County, Tennessee, May 1, 1867 and came to Benton County in childhood. She was married at her home at Osage Dec. 24, 1890 to the late THEODORE TURNER of Vaughn, who died March 20, 1930. In addition to her two sons, Dr. FRED A. TURNER of Hartshorne, Oklahoma and JOHN TURNER of Tulsa, Oklahoma and her three daughters, Mrs. CHARLES A. HENDERSON of Bentonville, Mrs. GARLAND DOUGLAS of Ketchum, Okla., and Miss RUTH TURNER of Vaughn, she is survived by three brothers, Dr. G. A. HUGHES of Siloam Springs, ALBERT HUGHES of Bixby, Okla., and LESTER HUGHES of Seminole, Okla., a sister Mrs. L. L. LEWIS of Muskogee, Okla., and seven grandchildren. She was a member of the Vaughn Presbyterian Church.
