Don't know anything other than that Harris named was a JP. There is a Harris name in a later relative in Indiana, but no link known. Lots of basic sources in Blount County for surnames so maybe if you know what religion, if any, or what area the person lived in Blount that could be helpful. Mine were at Six Mile Baptist and lived near Montvale Springs. Also down towards the river below Nine Mile. Male Remington married a Johnston and a Rouse married a female Remington in 1814 and 1815, supposedly by the Harris
