Re: Dryden Dole Donaldson - marker at Bethlehem cemetery v. military record of death

Classification: Query
All records from Fold3 show that D.D. Donaldson died at the time of the explosion. I have searched both sets of survivor and death records of that event. D.D. does not appear in any of the survivor records and appears in all of the death records.
Page 27 of the Blount Journal shows D.D. as a survivor. Anyone know the citation of this source? This might help explain the difference between his military-recorded data of death and that of what is found on his grave marker at Bethlehem in Walland.
It would be an amazing story to find that D.D. did actually defy military findings and survive the explosion (albeit briefly).
Thanks for any future assistance. Donny
