I am researching the Rathbone family in Haywood County NC . Have found a lot of information through Family Tree Maker.Our line of Rathbone all seems to descend from one man John Rathbone who came to Haywood County in late 1700s. Finding information about him prior to his arrival there has been difficult and we are just beginning to scrape the tip of the iceberg .
