I am a descendant of Anderson Sands of Cades Cove. I have been doing some reseach on the family. All I have found so far is the information that A. Randolph Sheilds has done.
Here is how my line goes:
Anderson Sands and Mary Ann Jones
Henry Anderson Sands and Laura Texana Burchfield
Jean Sands and Luther Coffey---they are my ggrandparents
Would be glad to share any more info I have.
