Researchers have James Elisha and Sarah Herrin's daughter as Sopheen who married James McGill. Recent court records sent to me by a very kind lady shows her name as Sophiann/Sophia Ann/Sopha Ann/Sarah Ann Sophia/and Sarah Ann. The records I have didn't mention "Sopheen". The latter name Sarah Ann is how she is shown in her obit, census records, etc.

I now have proof that Sarah Ann (Herrin) who married James C. McGill is the daughter of James Elisha and Sarah (Rushing) Herrin/Herron.
