John William White married Mary Alice Smith and lived in Benton Co, TN until 1903.

Cannot find records of Mary Alice Smith. She had at least two half sisters. Etta Smith married S.W. Barnes, had at least one son named William Franklin Barnes. Other sister was Bennie (sp) Smith.

Cousins to Atlas Tom Smith, listed on 1880 census, working at the King farm.
