Martha Ellen Osborn(e) "Aunt Mattie" is the younger sister of my Grandmother Emma Arillis Osborn. My Mother always referred to Martha Ellen Osborn as "Aunt Mattie."

On the 23 February 1892, Elizabeth (Osborn) Cochren, age 33, living in Wyoming, Illinois stated “that she is the daughter of William Osborn, and Mary Osborn, the above-named claimant. [(Mary (Hamilton) Osborne was the claiment.] That she was living at home at the time of the birth of her sister Martha. NOTE:This was found in the pension request of their Mother Mary (Hamilton) Osborn whose husband (William) was killed in an accident. William and Mary (Hamilton)Osborn are my Great-Grandparents and lived for a short time within a few miles of where I reside. They then moved to Wyoming in Stark County, Illinois.
