Attached is a portrait of a large family that was taken in Clark, South Dakota. The family consists of 7 daughters, 2 sons and their parents. It is possible that this family has some connection to the Severson, the Bjordal / Bjordahl, or Bjornson lineages that resided in the Kingsbury county area of South Dakota around the time frame 1880-1910.
Two Severson brothers (Bjornson in Norway) immigrated in 1874 together - Bertinius B. Severson and Sem Adolf Severson. I am a descendant from Bertinius. I have no information about Sem Adolf, but suspect this may be a portrait of him and his family. Looking at the portrait, the father resembles Bertinius, but Bertinius' children are the wrong gender for this to be his family.
If anyone has any information about this portrait, or Sem Adolf Severson's descendants, I would appreciate your response.
