Hi, I'm searching for relatives of Alexander LaCroix, he lived in Forestville New York. somewhere around the 1850's. I believe he may have been my great-grandfather. I recently came across an obituary of my grandfather's in which it stated that his parents lived in Forestville New York. After searching cemeterys I discovered a pioneer cemetery in Forestville, in which Alexander & his wife Altha are buried.
My grandfather's name was Albert LaCroix he married Lela Biddle around 1890 and lived in Kerkoven MN until his death in 1902. They had 6 children. At the time of Albert's death he had a brother that lived in Mellette, South Dakota. In the obituary he is listed as G.B. LaCroix. Albert has other brothers and sisters that lived in the East. I am very interested in finding any information about my family.
