My mother Anna Margaret Nelson born in Aberdeen Dec 24 1917 to Anna Nelson, father unknown, was actually placed in North Dakota Children's Home Society (not St. John's as I previously said) in Fargo, but not until January 1919, and adopted by a N.D. couple April 11, 1919. I am still looking for my biological grandmother, Anna Nelson.
