Have you had any luck with your quest? I am curious, for I wonder if this Convent had any connection with a hospital in Aberdeen, in 1917. My mother was born in Aberdeen then, father unknown, and later adopted out of St John's Orphanage in Fargo, North Dakota in early 1919. I knew St John's was run by Presentation Sisters, so wonder if there is a connection as to why my mother was adopted at St John's. Can yo tell me more about what the Presentation Sisters did in Aberdeen, if they were helping unwed mothers, or worked in a hospital there.
