I don't think the Wave was around at that time. However, there were a number of papers in Aurora county over the years. A list and information can be found here:

Sadie V. Wagner was born in Lyon County, IA in 1877 to John A. and Nancy Jane (Harkness) Wagner. In 1891 she and her family came by train to Aurora county... She taught in rural and White Lake schools until her marriage to Ludwig Loevinger in 1897.... Mrs. Loevinger passed away in 1954.
