Great grandson of Paul Grimball, whom arrived in South Carolina in 1680. Major Grimball commanded the Battalion of Artillery during the Siege of Charleston, 1780. Since Grimball died without issue, he has no direct descendants and has been almost completely forgotten as a Revolutionary Patriot. In July/August 2012 the Old Exchange Building in Charleston, SC. will be unavailing a new exhibit on Revolutionary Patriots featuring, among others Major Thomas Grimball.
I am looking for Grimball descendants that may have artifacts or stories that might be displayed, in connection with Thomas Grimball or any descendants of Paul Grimball, that are historically significant.
