My father was Fred Lemuel Tate, born September 1908 in Aubrey, Texas. His father was Lewis Napoleon Tate, but he had an uncle named Lemuel Noah Tate born 1872 in Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama. Lemuel and Lewis moved to Aubrey sometime Between the 1900 census and 1906 when he married his second wife Dona Starling. Lemuel was the son of Zachariah Tate and Elizabeth Edwards. Elizabeth allegedly had a brother named Lemuel Noah . Would love to hear from you if you are still out there.
