Surnames: Dawson McCord Nichols Nickles Nicles Nickels NickollsNicholls
In the 1830 census James McCord Dawson was indexed as James McDawson, and he's been ever so hard to track. James is possibly the son of Isaac Dawson and Elizabeth McCord.

As second wife James married Missina Nichols (any and all spellings) His firs wife was also a Nichols as he said that he'd always be worth a dime for both wives were nickles.

Missina, daughter of Daniel Nicles and Jane (possibly Jane Henry) had siblings Agnes ,Alexander, Elizabeth, Jannett, John, Daniel, Mary Miller, (Missina fits here), Susannah, James and Elizabeth Emmerline all born between 1792 and 1817. I have been given a copy of Daniels bible page with thier birth dates. Daniel died before the 1830 census.

If James first wife was sister to Missina and she was older then was she Agnes, Elizabeth, Jannett or Mary? Since last child was Elizabeth Emmerline did the first Elizabeth die young?

What about the rest of her siblings?
