I read, with interest, the history of Zoar Church. I also have family buried there, my gg-grandparents, Joseph Young Holladay and Maditha Lawrence Holladay. The way that I get to the church is to leave Sumter on highway 521, heading east toward Manning. After I pass the police shooting range on the right (there's a sign), I go down until I come to Zoar Church Road, which is a dirt road on the left by a closed-up store. Taking a left onto this road, I just travel until the dirt road turns into a paved road and the church and cemetery are on the left.
