I am looking for the parents of my Great Great Grandfather John A Duncan born Feb 18, 1805 in Spartanburg, SC. He married Elizabeth Turner of Henry County Georgia on April 29, 1827 and evidently moved there since he was in residence there in 1830. Elizabeth Turner died in 1838. He married Elizabeth Ann Smith on January 14, 1846 in Calhoun Alabama. He ended up in Rome (Floyd County) Georgia. There are several of us family members looking for his parents and other family members. He knew exactly when and where he was born but evidently never shared anything about his family of origin with anybody who wrote it down. Any help you can provide us re: his birth and parents in Spartanburg, SC will be greatly appreciated.
