Trying to find what I can on two girls who lost their parents and went into the foster system and now one of the grandchildren would like to know more about her parents/grandparents. Have not even been able to find anthing on Audrey Gaynell Robinson b. 20 Feb 1941 (?) and believe d. Mar 1974. She was living in Spartanburg and believe she told me at one time she was born there. Not sure where she died but in buried in Mobile AL. She was too young to remember her parents but her sister, Betty remembered them because she was five years older than Audrey. I have tried looking in old newspapers to find maybe her parents death but unless you are someone of importance will only make the local paper. I believe was said parents died in a fire or car wreck but was together. Thinking no family to take the girls is why they ended up in the foster system. Any help on the Robinson family would be appreciated. I hope I can find birth cert. but not sure if the birth is correct because cannot find her death record.
