I am writing in regards to an old cemetery thats located in Pacolet, SC near the Duke Power substation.Its called the Kirby Family Cemetary in a cemetery survey book.We found one marker still there of a soilder. David R Burns.I am desperately trying to get this area recognized as a burial ground.Maybe put a stone or something there so people in the future will know it is. And I would also like to maybe find the family of this person buried there,I think they may not even know and someone needs to also recognize him since he did fight for our country.I would like any advise you may be able to give to help me with this.
