I am trying to establish whether the Jesse Cooper (Nov. 22. 1792 - May 31, 1872) buried at Holly Springs Baptist Church is the same Jesse Cooper who was the son of Elijah Harrison Cooper (d. Dec. 28, 1796 in Union County, SC) and Susannah Greer (who later married Payton Simmons). I am a descendent of the Holly Springs Jesse Cooper and would love to know of any proof of the above mentioned relationship. I would also love to know the whereabouts of Jesse Cooper's bible which he bequeathed to his daughter Martha, wife of Calvin A. White.
