I am looking for any info on the Silas Carter Family in 1770 he bought 100 acres of land on Cloud Creek. He was a member of the Cloud Creek Baptist Church and joined the South Carolina Militia in the Revoluntionary War. Silas also was the 1st Bapt Minister @ the New River Chapel in North Carolinia. There was a Revolutionary war that took place on Cloud Creek Nov 17, 1781 at a Carter Home and Carter Field in Cloud Creek. I was wondering if anyone knows if this was the home of Silas Carter. I will add a little bit of info on his family to help out. I appriciate any help anyone can give me with this. Joshua Johnson
