I am trying very desperately to find the parents of my
Great-Grandfather. He was William Thompson. He was born in August of 1857 & Died April 12, 1917. He first
married Henretta Ratcliff. She had 1 son (my grandfat-
her:Hugh Solomon Thompson) on July 24, 1885 & then died on August 1, 1885. William then married her sister
Maggie Ratcliff. They had 3 children. I know that he
was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bethune, SC. And that he a self-educated man. He is buried in the Sandy
Grove Med. Church Cemetery. Any help is greatly needed.
