I believe Abraham/Abram is his father. As a Brunswick North Carolina Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions dated Sept 1, 1820 lists John W. Skipper as his son and, therefore, heir.

After that, I hear all kinds of rumors as to whom Abram/Abraham's father is.
