I am seeking info on the parents and birth family of Rebecca Ervin Gordon (1819-1896) in Williamsburg County, South Carolina who married Thomas Nelson Britton in 1847. They had 8 children. Thomas Nelson Britton was a Captain in the 10th Infantry Regiment in South Carolina in the Civil War. She is buried in Lott Cemetery in Ware County, GA. She is my second great grandmother and I know nothing about her parents.
