I am trying to link Kirtons (sometimes spelled Kerton) to each other in this area and also Marion County, SC.(1700s-1800s)
I found two Kertons on the 1790 census of Georgetown County, "Prince George Parish".
Thomas Kerton and Phillip Kerton.
Thomas had 1 male 16+, 1 male under 16, and 1 female in his household on this census.
Phillip had 1 male 16+, 1 male under 16, 2 females, and 3 slaves in his household.
How are these two Kirtons/Kertons related to each other?
Thanks for any information,
Susan
