STONEVILLE, N.C. — Jannie Holmes McCullough, 91, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Brithaven of Madison.

She was born in Effingham, S.C., to Benjamin and Bessie Holmes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allard W. McCullough; a son, Samuel; and grandson, Derrick Dalton.

She was a member and mother of the church at Revelation of Faith Church in Madison. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are three sons, Clarence “Doc” McCullough and William McCullough of Stoneville and Joseph Calvin McCullough of Martinsville, Va.; four daughters, Clara M. Dalton, Emma M. Spain, Claudine McCullough and Gwen Belthrop, all of Stoneville; and a sister, Lillie Mae Hugee of Effingham

The service will be held at noon Monday at Sharon Baptist Church. Burial will be in Eden Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 to noon Monday at the church and other times at 303 Snead Road.
Arrangements are by Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, Madison
