Does any have any research on Daniel Hutto and his wife Mary (Durr - I believe) Hutto??
They are buried at Indian Field UMC.
Looking for thier ancestry and descendants....
they had one daughter, Mary, who married Rueben Knight.
They are my ancestors through a son Samuel Knight and through a daughter Dorcas Knight Patrick.
I found Mary Hutto Knights date of death in David Gavin's journal.
Also.......does any one know if these Hutto's are connected to an Ann Hutto (who according to Southern Christian Advocate, lived to a very advanced age). Dont know anything about Ann, but that she had a retarted daughter named Catherine and another daughter named Margaret, who married John Whetsell, Sr.

I've been looking for the same info on Daniel Hutto. My gggfather's name was Daniel Hutto born ca 1776 we think. I believe the Daniel you mentioned has bd of 1766? or close to it. My Daniel was born in SC and had sone named Daniel J Hutto (1817-1906) buried in Henry Co, AL. I have all the family's info up to him and it's verified. But don't really know if Daniel is his father.

I have a Daniel Hutto born 1833........South Carolina and died in Crawford County Georgia....
He had a son named Daniel L. Hutto born 1839 in Crawford County Georgia.......There were other children as well (I have list).

I am researching the same family. Your Daniel Hutto was born in 1767. He was married to Mary Durr. I know that he had at least one son, Daniel (W)Right Hutto who married Susannah Wimberly. I have all of Daniel Right's descendants or as many that I could gather. I'm sure that they had more children than Mary and Daniel R. because there are about 10 years difference in their births. However, I've hit a hard brick wall in trying to identify his other children. I've been in touch with other Hutto families in the Bowman/Duncan Chapel area, but with no success. I've also been trying to find Daniel's parents with no success. I have the parentage of Mary Durr, the names of her siblings, and some of the descendants of their
families. Daniel and Mary are my gg grandparents, therefore, my special interest in them.
