Having spent a great deal of time and energy in researching the Robert and Jane Berry family, which came from Northern Ireland in 1768 and settled near today's Branchville, I am now trying to find as many present day descendants as possible before I move on to another family line. All the family surnames above, plus many more, intermarried with the early Berry family and there are many, many descendants living all over the Dorchester, Orangeburg and Colleton Counites, in addition to all of those who moved on to other areas or states.
