Just a few weeks ago I finally found the answer to one of my brick walls thank to the pension file of my 3x greatgrandfather Elisha Hall. The brick wall was his mothers maiden name... FINALLY found it thanks to his pension record. Her name was Dicey Driggers! Through the record I also knocked down another wall, I had suspected they had originally came from Chesterfield Co. South Carolina to Barbour Co. Alabama. Thanks to the pension record now I have proof.Dicey Driggers and her husband Henry Hall moved to Barbour Ala. about 1834 Henry died ten years later in 1844. My question is does anyone have any information on the Driggers from this area? Other than finding Dicey's last name I know nothing else of her.
