There is a land grant map that covers part of Chester county. Per the Richland Co library website, it covers part of Chester, Newberry, Fairfield, Laurens, Greenville, Spartanburg and Union counties. It has an index of names. It has an index of names in back and consists of several map. It is quite large, the size of a small desk. They have one at Fairfield county library which is near my office. I can check it tomorrow and see if it covers the area you need, but it may be difficult to copy. There is a good website with the Mills Atlas maps, but no index. I have the book with the index, if that would help you.
