Hello, I am seeking any information on the parents of Michael Blanton Davis, born 1817, died 1889. He married Loucinda Humphries and had children Louisa Jane Davis, William Jefferson Davis,John R. F. Davis, and William Terrill Davis. He is buried in Camps Creek Baptist Church cemetery in Mooresboro, NC. I am his great-great granddaughter through Willis Jefferson Davis. I know he served as a Civil War prison guard in Salisbury, NC around 1864, probably in the 5th North Carolina Senior Reserves. Thanks to a courthouse fire, I am hitting a dead end. Any info will be most welcome.
