I am seeking information about my 3x great Grandfather, William (Joseph) Williams 1759-1823. He was an Artist and lived in Charleston from approximately 1798 until approximately 1804. He lived at 78 Meeting, 83 Queen, Bedoes Alley and Masczyk Street as well as an unknown location on Sullivan's Island. He was married to Isabella Moore at the Circular Church. His previous Wife, Catherine Simpson is buried at the old Catholic cemetary. Any information would be gratefully received especially concerning his children and any works of Art by him that may be in private collections in Charleston or the environs. I am a lawyer in Wrightsville Beach, N.C.
