Hi All,

I can't seem to find out where my ggg-grandparents were after 1870. They seem to have dropped off the earth. (maybe they did). The "Smalls" line of my family, I know very little about. In 1870 they are listed as followed:

1870, Charleston, Saint Andrews Parish, SC,

Henry Smalls 38, farmer
Emma Smalls 30,
Mary Smalls 17, (my gggrandmother)
William Smalls 15
Susan Smalls 12
Sipio Smalls 22 (brother of Henry)
Mingo/Mineo Smalls 20 (brother of Henry)

On the 1880, 1900, censuses. There is no listing for Henry and Emma Smalls. My gggrandmother Mary moved to James Island, along with Susan and William. Sipio moved to Georgia. I just don't know what happened to Henry and Emma. I checked other states, and found nothing. Maybe they died in a fire or something. Any advice? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Senora M Amos
