The next household is an
Ellis Cooler age 25 with wife Jessie.
The household above William
Davis is probably a younger brother.
Rufus L. Davis age 36 first married at age 30 b. GA/GA/GA occ: Laborer Lumber yard

So it looks like your Will is Willam and his marriage to Pearl was his second. Looks like he first married abt 1901/02.
You can get their death certificates, have you contacted the cemetery where your father is buried to see if he had any Military Honors? If he did and even if he didn't,
contact the
Jasper County Veterans Office, usually located in the County
Court House, to see if he filed his DD214 (Discharge papers) with them to recieive the
GII. and Veterans Benefits due him from his service.
