I am looking for anyone that has researched the Taylor families from Edgefield and Aiken. My gg grandfather was William "Jack" Taylor and he married Mattie Tiller I would say sometime around 1885. I have very little on this man. In 1900 newspaper article it mentions my Mattie as Mrs William Taylor and that her husband recently died. I also have reson to belive that "Jack" lived until 1921 in Aiken. There sons in order were...John David Taylor b. 1887, William Dorsey Taylor b. 1889, and Hiram Leon Taylor b. 1894. Any help on the Taylor families from this area would be greatly appreciated.
