I am looking for any information on a RICKERSON family who lived in Cranston at the time of the 1850 Census. I believe that after the Census they had a son Lenard/Leonard who eventually ended up in McKean County PA and married my great-aunt Ida BALDWIN and had 3 children. Here are the RICKERSONS I found on the 1850 Census of Cranston, Providence, Rhode Island:
Charles RICKERSON 27 born in Massachusetts
Alice RICKERSON 30 born in Massachusetts
Charles RICKERSON 4 born in Massachusetts
Mary A. RICKERSON 2 born in Masschusetts
On the 1880 Census of McKean County PA, Lenard's birthplace is listed as Rhode Island. The respondent said that his parents were born there, too--but if his wife (Ida BALDWIN) was answering she may have just been mistaken. Do any of these names ring a bell?
