I am searching for the parents of Charles Prann b. 1816 in Connecticut. He emigrated to Vermont where he married Katherine Weston 1861. He then relocated to Howard Co., Iowa where his 4 children were born. In the 1870 and 1880 census of Howard Co., it is found that his mother was born in Connecticut and his father was born in Rhode Island.

If this is so, then the father of Charles Prann is probably the first Prann born in America.

The father of Charles Prann might be John Prann found at the Wethersfield, Conn. cemetery b. 1791 and d. 1873.
