Why are you posting on RI message board? This Board not very active and only by chance would you get a reply.
Have you tried looking them up on Italian Genealogy society site in NY. Look for BMD's there. Also you heading has nothing to do with Davitt. Not likely you will get many replies.

I have no information on any of this just volunteering to help. I like the challenge.
