Looking for the names of the children of Greene Allen-born abt 1767,son of James Allen and Anne Greene and Amey Bliven,born 19 Sep 1780, daughter of Daniel Bliven and Hannah Greene. Any help woould be appreciated,

I do know that James was a Corwainer living in Charlestown (Misquamicut) I did have the children written down but can't find them now. I think they're listed in Arnolds Vitals of Charlestown.

I'll have to look Saturday when I go to the His. Soc.library. They are a compilation of all the towns vitals as well as church and other records.

Located in the will of Abraham Allen which was proved 10-24-1836,Charlestown,R.I. the children of Greene Allen are mention as Joseph and Greene Jr.. No DOB or other info shown in Will on the two children or what book the Will is stored in.

Thank you -that's him. Another kind person has found Green Allen (jr) birth as 13 Dec 1805 in Westerly .

I received a message from your cousin Marcia. She gave me information she had on Greene Allen and Amey Blivens children. She had Green Allen (Jr) b 13 Dec 1805 in Westerly. The dates work out. From census reports I had him listed as being born 1805-06. I found his grave in Wi. It gave only his death date of 8 May 1864 age 58 yrs and 5 mos.
He was married to Polly Pierce also from R.I. My gr gr grandmother was their daughter Lydia Jane Allen Twist. I still want to hear what you find out. Thanks so much for your reply.

Green's birth (as stated before)is in Westerly records. The family is in First Hopkington Cem. Green b.1780 d.4-24-1857, married 2-12-1804 Amy Bliven b. 1780, d 10-29-1846 . Daughter Eliza b.1826 d 4-16-1850, Fannie b. 1822, d 9-4-1854. Another possible but can't prove was Ray Green Allen in Pine grove cem. Hopkington b. 1826 d 1861 (no R.I. death record)
