I am looking for information on my ggg grandmother Hannah, born Sept 3, 1762 and married Anthony Remington on Mar 3, 1782 in Westerly, RI. Some family records have her maiden name as OTTER, however, I cannot find any OTTERS in the RI records I have researched. There are, however, POTTERS and UTTERS and I am wondering if perhaps there hasnt been a transcribing error somewhere. Does any one have a Hannah that meets the dates and marriage to Anthony Remington? She died in 1842 in Fowler, OH. Thanks for any help you can.
