My great great grandmother Elizabeth Holmes was married twice. Firstly to John Farrell in 1856 and then my great great grandfather John Rattigan in 1861. Both marriages took place in Strokestown, County Roscommon.
I've only recently learned that Eliza had 2 children from her first marriage - Mary in 1857 and Patrick in 1858. I have just discovered records online for Patrick Farrell - he married Mary Winn in 1894 in Providence, Washington, Rhode Island and had a son John in 1895 and a daughter Marie or Mary in 1899.
I would love to learn more about my great grandfather's half brothers family. Any Farrell descendants out there?
