Hello,
I'm hoping that maybe someone could help find any records for Moses Whittum (abt. 1790 - 1830)in Providence. It is hoped that his parents could be identified, in order to discover where the family may have come from.

He was born about 1790 to 1800, possibly in Providence or elsewhere in Rhode Island. His parents are not known.
The first mention found for him is in a list of Letters in the The Providence Journal in 1818.
He married Lydia Marble by about 1821, and they had 4 children born in Providence between about 1821 to 1826. No marriage or birth records have been found.
Moses died in March 1830. A Probate Record for that has been found.
