Hi all,
I have Martha Ann Race b1888 in England, she arrived at Boston 18/2/1907 and stated she was to stay with friend Sarah Kennedy at 821 Weeden Street, Pawtucket.
I have found her again on the 1920 census, as a boarder at 144 Broadway, Pawtucket?
Can anyone please help with tracing her further, i don't know the way the BMD works in the USA, so i am at a loss as to what to do next. I can't see her on the 1930 census, so she could have married or died.
Any info of any kind about the area would also be much appreciated.

None of the Rhode Island BMDs are on-line, except for the familysearch.org entries that are taken from the published books. The majority of those are pre-1850.

All records that are available to the general public are held at the State Archives in Providence. They do not do research, but anyone is free to go there and do their own research. http://sos.ri.gov/archives

I checked the cemetery transcription site (not complete yet) and she was not listed.
