I am looking for information on Isaac Hart who married by g-g-grandfather's widow, Rachel A. Rounds. They were married in 1881. It looks like he was either 31 or 37 or 39 to her 43 (hard to read marriage registration sent to me). Gives his place of birth as Tiverton and lists his occupation as fisherman. I am waiting for a copy of the marriage certificate but hope someone can give me more information in the meantime. Thanks.

Benjamin _____ (Simmons is my guess) and Peace ____.

I have not researched any furthur on his parents. I did, however, find him with his mother (Polly M. Hart) and brother John G. Hart on the 1880 census. It looks like he was about four households away from Rachel.

I believe that Isaac's parents are Peleg Hart and Hannah Potter. Peleg and Hannah were married in April 08, 1781 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co. Mass. She was the daughter of Stokes Potter and Rebecca Shaw.

Peleg's parents were Constant Hart and Deborah Sanford both of Tiverton Rhode Island

There is confusion in my records of two different Ben Simmons. One (of Abner and Ruth or Eliz. (Manchester))who also had Phebe who married Isaac Rounds, this Ben b. 1790 d.1874 And the other Ben Simmons who was b. 1810 who married Nancy Wait had a Rachel b. 1837 d 1916 Ti. I have him a son of Thomas II and Mary(Church). All of these families lived on or about Crandell Road between North Tiverton and Adamsville.
